What We Do

Divorce causes the largest  reallocation of assets in your life.  Couples getting a divorce usually struggle to equitably divide assets in a mutually-beneficial and tax-efficient manner.

SquareFairy helps you get it right.

How We Do It

SquareFairy uses intelligent software to equitably allocate your family’s assets and debts.  We consider your individual preferences for particular items and properties, and willingness to trade off value for cash.

For example, when one of you want to keep your home, you don’t pay a realtor fees or potential capital gains taxes.  The underlying technology, in development for several years, has been used across multiple industries to improve corporate strategic planning.

Candice has dedicated her entire legal career (since 2007) to working with families in high-conflict situations. She served as a litigator for several years, representing both parents and minors in family law and juvenile dependency cases.  Her experience includes juvenile dependency trial and appellate work; special education; probate guardianship; private domestic adoptions, LPS and family law.

She has seen firsthand the exhaustive toll that litigation takes on parents which in turn negatively affects their children. She has learned that there is no “winning” in litigation and feels this is particularly true in divorces. Consequently, she strives to enforce the idea that the divorce process can be navigated through with dignity and does not have to become a drawn-out, expensive and adversarial process. Candice respects each of her clients’ unique situations and tailors her services accordingly. She is committed to always maintaining impartiality and fairness to each party.
Candice holds degrees in law from the University of San Francisco – School of Law, and her BA in History & Sociology from UCLA.

Nicole is a San Francisco Bay Area native, born and raised in Vallejo, California, and was admitted to practice law in the state in 2001. She worked as a Mayoral Aide for Los Angeles Mayor James Hahn prior to beginning her legal career as a Child Support Services Department Staff Attorney for the County of Los Angeles.

She now practices all aspects of family law, and is known for being an honest and compassionate practitioner who understands that the divorce process is extremely difficult for individuals to navigate on their own. She is trusted by her clients and has often handled other legal matters that her clients faced, such as juvenile dependency, special education, guardianship, civil litigation, and criminal defense.

In addition to practicing law, Nicole has served as an Adjunct Law Professor at Irvine University College of Law where she taught torts and criminal law. She is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court, Central District of California and Northern District of California.
